More sophomoric spew from our POTUS as he continues his Eastward meandering.
In words of self-righteous consternation (what BO does best), he actually stated something broadly, generically enough in such a way that Trump supporters happily and proudly assume as a mantel of justification for backing Trump to begin with.
President Barack Obama said Thursday that world leaders are “rattled” by Donald Trump — and “for good reason.”
During a press conference in Japan, Obama said the American presidential election is being “very” closely watched oversees. He told reporters that “it’s fair to say” world leaders are “surprised” Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee.
Correct. And it’s about time America does “rattle” the world. But then, true to form of the rehashed Barackian script, BO diminishes his gravity by fumbling into that predictable trite simplistic parroting he also does well.
“They are not sure how seriously to take some of this pronouncements but they’re rattled by him — and for good reason, because a lot of the proposals that he’s made display either ignorance of world affairs or a cavalier attitude,” Obama added.
Mr. President, you say that as if it’s a bad thing.
