OK, to my out-of-state friends, the South Coast Plaza in Orange County, California, is White as hell.
If you work there, you see White skin all day long. If you see skin that is a darker pigment than normal, it screams out at you.
(Incidentally, the South Coast Plaza hosts The Carvery, an offshoot luncheon sort of place that borrows its offerings from Lawry’s prime rib menu…their sandwiches are pure orgasm).
So how is it that someone could smash a jewelry display tonight and not leave pertinent racial description for the police?
An investigation was underway following a smash-and-grab robbery Friday evening at a luxury watch store at a Costa Mesa’s South Coast Plaza shopping mall, authorities said.
The incident happened about 8:20 p.m. at Rolex store, where a person or persons shattered a display case and grabbed an unspecified amount of merchandise, a spokesperson for the Costa Mesa Police Department said.
No one was injured in the robbery, according to police.
They can be identified by their bling and glass splinters.
