Earlier on Voat, I posted this comment in response to a Washington Examiner piece (sorry) about Barack Obama’s suicidal insistence on decimating the United States from within by allowing 100,000 Middle East refugees because, of course, the European Lesson hasn’t been quite enough a frightening deterrent in itself.
In a brief Easter weekend radio address, President Obama vowed to decimate the self-proclaimed Islamic State, but he said the United States will do so by offering an example of freedom, tolerance and open society.
“Our openness to refugees fleeing ISIL’s violence; our determination to win the battle against ISIL’s hateful and violent propaganda — a distorted view of Islam that aims to radicalize young Muslims to their cause,” are paramount in the fight, Obama told Americans during his weekly radio address.
Admitting entry to Syrian and Iraqi refugees has become a divisive issue in the U.S. as well as Europe, but Obama made clear he has no plan to back off his promise to admit 100,000 to the U.S. this year.
I was rather taken by my comment, so in the spirit of unbridled egotism, I’m posting it here as well.
I truly wonder if Barack Obama, so taken with his exclusive importance, is unable to cope with its impending end, the closing of his “official chapter,” and as such, truly does not care what he leaves us with as long as he leaves us with something to remember him by.
Even if it’s a big hunk of collective national shit, ie., 100,000 Syrian refugees.
Barack has Secret Service protection, a lifetime guarantee. No skin off his back.
