A word of warning regarding the Avenatti herring.

I suspect many might argue with me, but the sordid mess that is Michael Avenatti is a choreographed distraction.  A ploy to make the Right believe “something” is happening favorable to their side when in fact, it means nothing.  It’s an exhaust valve to dilute the anger we should be feeling about the crumbling American political process.

He is a peripheral, inconsequential figure on the political playground.

A symbolic jester seeking to cheaply rattle the narrative, but he is ultimately a bobble-head of dissension and attack. His fame will wither on its own and the less we have to deal with him in the public eye, the better for all concerned. His continued presence is a ploy, and now, a distraction.

The Democrats are stealing the election and destroying the sanctity and integrity of American culture and history but we’re too busy watching this Nerf ball of triviality.

Michael Avenatti, who skyrocketed to fame as a critic of President Donald Trump and the lawyer for porn actress Stormy Daniels, was arrested Wednesday and booked on a felony domestic violence charge, Los Angeles police said.

The alleged victim in the case had visible injuries, according to Officer Tony Im, a police spokesman. But Avenatti slammed the allegation as “completely bogus” and “fabricated and meant to do harm to my reputation” in a statement released by his law firm.

Avenatti, who has said he’s mulling a 2020 presidential run, posted $50,000 bail and was released about four hours after he was arrested Wednesday on the same block where he lives in a skyscraper apartment.

Police declined to provide any details about the alleged victim, including that person’s relationship to Avenatti.

As he left the police station Wednesday, Avenatti said he had never hit a woman and said he’s been an advocate for women’s rights his entire career.

“I wish to thank the hard working men and woman of the LAPD for their professionalism and their work today. They had no option in light of the allegations,” Avenatti said. “I am looking forward to a full investigation, at which point I am confident that I will be fully exonerated.”

He probably will be, too, but not before the distraction has done its…distracting.

When victims are victims of victims. Leftist dialog off the rails as migrants reach Tijuana.

Hm.  At least they won’t fuck our women…

Hundreds of Central American migrants travelling through Mexico to seek asylum in the US have reached the Mexican border city of Tijuana.

The group of 400, who include LGBTQ migrants, broke away from the larger caravan of 5,000 people in Mexico City.

Many of the smaller group are LGBTQ, media reported, who say they parted ways with the main caravan after weeks of what they call discriminatory treatment by local residents and fellow travellers.

Undeterred by a harder US stance against them, the migrants have said they will continue the journey so that they can claim asylum.

Glad to see California isn’t the only banana republic…

Who let this riffraff into the Union, for chrissakes?

Burdened on the West and the East like dead weight;  burden of squandered appendage.

Palm Beach County’s race to recount votes is heating up — literally.

The county’s decade-old ballot-counting machines overheated and gave incorrect totals, forcing the county to restart its recount of about 175,000 early votes., supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher said Tuesday night.

The department has flown in mechanics to repair the machines.

“We’re disappointed by the mechanical problems that are going to cause a further delay in the recount,” Bucher told reporters. “It became evident through the vigorous pace of counting that the machines used for the recount were starting to get stressed.”

The malfunctions resulted in the loss of more than a day’s work.

Bucher said on Monday that her office wouldn’t be able to meet the 3 p.m. Thursday deadline imposed by the state. On Saturday, state election officials said Florida’s 67 counties had to recount the more than 8 million ballots cast statewide because the results in three major elections — U.S. Senate, governor and agriculture commissioner — were under the 0.5 percentage point threshold that triggers the mandatory recount, according to state law.

Dr. Robert Lyons never let a GSW get in the way of an anti-gun polemic…

The more teen-aged blood splatter on your scrubs, the better.

The bigger picture here, the more urgent matter at hand, is painting guns as evil in order to perpetuate the fear-driven leftist panacea.

Dr. Lyons was afforded the perfect chance.

This is perfectly legit use of your professional medical private patient access when you’re trying to make a political statement.

Dr. Cuck, MD.

I bring you a coastal liberal elite who loves the loss of personal liberty, disguised as taxes and personal inconvenience, so long as the Leftist agenda spews…

This is the Liberal fuel that propels this shithole.

California in flames but it’s not too proud to ask for handouts

There is something plaintively hypocritical and galling about California Governor Jerry Brown asking for federal help in battling the latest wave of deadly wild fires in this state.

While, on the other side of his commie mouth he declares the impending doom of big bad climate change for the current fire season.

(California’s historic battles with fires of course are a purely modern phenomenon attributable at least partially to President Trump’s meteorological intransigence).

California Gov. Jerry Brown says now is a time for Californians to pull together as they face catastrophic fires at both ends of the state.

The Democratic governor, a climate change evangelist, stressed at a Sunday press conference that wildfires have become more ferocious because of severe drought and climate change.

Brown says this “new abnormal” will only get worse over the next 10 to 20 years, threatening California’s entire way of life.

He also said California is requesting aid from the Trump administration. President Donald Trump has blamed “poor” forest management for the fires.

Brown told a press briefing that federal and state governments must do more forest management but said that’s not the source of the problem.

“Managing all the forests in everywhere we can does not stop climate change,” Brown said. “And those who deny that are definitely contributing to the tragedies that we’re now witnessing, and will continue to witness in the coming years.”

If California burns down, will anyone care?
