Did Rachel Maddow get “McCained?”

Tuesday, March 14th, 2017

Sure smells like it could be a set-up, courtesy of Trump, the master tactician.

While Rachel Maddow drones on with the coherence of Janet Yellen, losing thousands of viewers by the minute, the MSNBC anchor was promptly scooped not only by the White House which revealed her “secret” one hour in advance, but also by the Daily Beast which reported that its contributor David Cay Johnston had obtained the first two pages of Trump’s 2005 federal income tax return, allegedly receiving them in the mail, and posted his “analysts” on his website, DCReport.org.

According to the documents, Trump and his wife Melania paid $38 million in total income tax, consisting of $5.3 million in regular federal income tax, and an additional $31 million of “alternative minimum tax,” or AMT.

“It is totally illegal to steal and publish tax returns,” the White House statement concluded. “The dishonest media can continue to make this part of their agenda, while the President will focus on his, which includes tax reform that will benefit all Americans.”

This has reverse sting written all over it.

Feed an enigmatically incriminating document to a willing dupe with an immense grudge/agenda, and let the rest of the story takes its course.

Sounds like Rachel got McCained, or at the very least, Geraldoed.

Feels Good!

Liberal Robot, Chris Cuomo, goes beyond normal self-serving semantics; now it’s not just the word, but how you enunciate.

Oh Chris, you’re such a lefty tool. On the surface, this is an outrageous case of parsing language beyond the boundaries of reasonable logic in order to make an illogical point.  Typical liberal behavior.

Cuomo, in the course of this CNN discussion about Michael Brown’s less than law-abiding assaultive history, actually argues that just because Michael Brown dealt drugs does not mean he is a “drug dealer.”

A ludicrous distortion of language conjured by yet another left-winger to make some sort of nebulous and wayward argument, granted. But maybe…he has a point? Perhaps bartering drugs for goods does not make you a drug dealer.

The guest, Harry Houck, puts Cuomo in his place, however. Houck essentially tells Cuomo to let’s call it what it is: drug dealing.

Cuomo, in his best SJW/leftist pose, will not be deterred by logic. So he clarifies.

Michael Brown was not necessarily a drug dealer. Or rather, he was not a drug deal-ER (accompanied by heavy stress on the “er” with slightly flailing hand gestures).

Ohhh.

Well then it’s OK. Michael Brown was an upstanding citizen who would be alive today were it not for those tyrannical, racist police officers.  Cuomo wins again.
